Grand Theft Auto IV Review

pretty good review, I agree I think the game was good not great, I did find the dating/friends thing was a waste of time, I tired to do the as quickly as possible just for the Achievements/ability's. my biggest problem with the game is 90% if not more of the games music sucked ass need more rock and better metal. I my self would give it a 8.5
 
i'm disappointed by how brown everything is, but i guess this is expected when NY is your model. I would of liked to see a variety of hidden packages that provide you with rewards. I enjoy exploring the city, but i really enjoy it when i know i may find a package that may lead to a reward. Hopefully they will use this new engine for a city with more green to it, like modern Vice City or such! all in all though, i don't regret giving rockstar my money, since i bought the special edition.
 
I would give it a 9.5. Its GTA, with improvements. The Music sucks though, and the multiplayer is broken, and this whole chase mission crap is getting hackneyed.
 
Same missions that we played in GTA III... After beating it, I give it a 8.0. Good review score nitzan, glad to see someone give the game a score that it deserves more than those ridiculous 10's.

GTA IV is my first GTA game. I rented a copy from bb and was completely hooked ...after handing my copy back, I was on the verge of running to buy a copy of my own until a friend told me he stopped playing because the tasks became repetitive and boring. A few google searches later and it seems that many gamers had the same opinion once the honeymoon was over. Your review was definitely informative especially for those of us who are late getting on the GTA bandwagon...I'm going to check out Vice City (better late than never) - Thanks!
 
I personally would have to give GTA 4 a 8 there are really good graphics and the missions were actually easier then i was thinking they were gonna be.
