Great EB experience

I know this isn't a deal/bragging butI don't really know where to post something like this. I had a great experience at EB games tonight (1/18/05).

I had bought a used game and broke the seal on it even. I deceided that I didn't want the game and brought it back tonight. I was hoping to run into an EB associate that I knew (and I did), otherwise I wouldn't have been able to exchange it and get my money back (since it was opened). He took the game back and I got the money I paid for it back.

If only all EB games/gamestop associates were like this.

The ebgames closest to me doesn't even use those stupid seals, I'm actually pretty thankful for that.

How long ago did you buy it? At GS, it's standard policy to get your money back on a used game within a week.

You took back a used game? I don't see the big deal here. If it had been a NEW game and you broke the seal and then were able to take it back -- then you'd have something.

Of course, then they'd just pass it off as NEW to someone else.

Those seals are hard to get off clean, at least for me. I never really tried to return them like you because I think I'd get rejected for whatever reason. Yeah.

I bought it like 2 days agao, deceided I didn't want it and brought it back. However, I called EB before I brought it back and the guy I talked to said that if the seal on the used game was broken then I can only exchange it for the same game if it's broken (so I was gonna say it was broken because I knew they didn't have anymore copies).
