Great Xbox 360 Games

What are they? I used to only play halo 3 and when i say only i mean only. COD 5 was cool for 1 week but im looking for a great campaign something to envelope me into the story. I just wasted my money renting Alan Wake which has a great story but little to no game play value. Im blazing through it on Hard and have yet to encounter a difficult puzzle or more than 2 types of enemies other than bosses.

So tell me Cags What are the great titles that dont require multiplayer to make the game

Also I loved Fable (I dont listen to any press on fable titles it makes them better that way lol)

So RPG aint out of the question cept for fallout 3 I'll rent New Vegas because of iron sites. I just feel i can aim better manually then with VATS anyday.

Whats that game you love and can play over and over for me its the Fable/Halo/Deus ex series

Give Tales of Vesperia a try. Tales games are pretty good RPGs, not all of them mind you, but Vesperia is one of the good ones.

mass effect 1&2, gears of war 1&2, fable 2, halo reach, call of duty (mostly all of them were good), ghost recon advanced warfighter 2, rainbow six vegas 2, riiiidge racerrr! lol j.k and check the xbox live arcade marketplace there are some really good games on there too.

Loved Ridge Racer on N64 lol i remember getting all the secret cars

Not into Gears i tried
Played All COD Games
Played All Fable/Halo

Im looking for a game to rent whats your take on Dragon Age? i wish i would of rented this instead of Alan Wake. I wish i would of rented Max Payne instead of Alan wake im playing it now and its a waste of time but im gonna beat it lol

everyone's opinions are different, each gamer's preferences are going to be bias. Just do a search on the genre of games you like and look at the reviewer's score and the gamers score. They're usually pretty good at telling you if at least the gameplay is decent and consistant. Otherwise, every GOTY edition game or platinum hit tend to be solid titles.

Dragon Age is a better game on the PC, but still enjoyable on the console. One of the main replay draws for DA:O is beating it with a different class/combo and going evil or good etc. You could easily play it 5 times if you have the attention span to do so. Otherwise, ME2 is my pick and Red Dead Redemption.

burnout paradise should give you some hours to put into a game... i am almost at 100% in the game including the DLC and i put about 94 hours into it.

Id say Red Dead Redemption too. Eventhough I am not a fan of their DLC choices, which are mainly multiplayer only, I really enjoyed the single player game. Dont take it too seriously and just enjoy being a wild west cowboy as the environment they made for the game is truly unique. Unlike the Halo games (which I like a lot) where there are other sci-fi shooters, or the modern war games where there are many selections (COD, MOH, BF, etc), there are not very many western games out there, and even fewer with the freedom of a sandbox game.

Bioshock is clearly the only answer. Everyone else is wrong. ;)

Borderlands - will suck you in, but it doesn't have much in way of a story. Most will say it's a MP game, but it's a blast single player as well.

Mirror's Edge - Decent story, very fun- albeit short, little game. Don't use guns if you opt for this game, it's far more satisfying that way.

Demos...demos... demos, just try a bunch out and see what you like.

Deathsmiles
Tales of Vespa
Culdcept Saga
Rock Band 3
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection

BorderLands and Dragon Age origins along with bioshock is what im gonna look forward too along with Fable 3 thanks for the help

Based on your Alan Wake summary, it sounds like you're looking for a challenge. I would definitely say Bioshock first and foremost, try it without VitaChambers even. Bioshock 2 is worth at least a rental as well.

Dead Space is one of my favorites, but you might not enjoy it if you didn't like Alan Wake.

If you haven't played the first Force Unleashed, I always thought that one was rather challenging, I even had to knock the difficulty down a bit to get the most enjoyment from it.
