Green Hornet 3D Blu-Ray $24.99 at Best Buy

Wish sony and all the other studios would do a coupon savings deal like Disney does, they are gonna end up lowering the price anyway.
shitty movie...don't bother.
Quoted for absolute truth. Almost walked out of the theatre...absolutely boring in every way.

I don't think it was that bad. I would pick it up for 25 as long as it was a 3D and 2D BD 2 disc combo pack. That way I could still watch it till I get me a 3D tv. That is if I really would even want to see it in 3D. I saw it in theaters in 3D as that was the only way the theater was playing it and didn't really see anything worth making it 3D.

This is what is happening in my area too. They shove the 3d only version for several weeks then after that play the 2d version...The only problem is that they place that version either later in the afternoon or in the evening when they jack up the prices :(

The trailer looked cool, but the 3-d was not necessary and the plot and acting was stupid.

If its a shitty movie like you say why post in this thread if u don't like it and your not going to buy it who cares don't buy it

Thanks OP for the deal post

I think the criticism of the movie is a potential warning to the blind buyers of 3D content (since it's still pretty sparse) and I'm glad of the warning... although I'm not surprised to hear this in the slightest.

I just might have to see if I can 'rent' this movie online ;) and check it out before I decide whether or not to buy the disc for two reasons: 1) to see if the movie itself is any good and 2) to see if I want to buy my first 3D conversion (I have Alice in Wonderland, but a lot of that didn't need to be converted since it was primarily CG and was rendered as such)

to hopefully save people from buying it. Movie did look quite iffy to me. May have to rent it sometime, but not buying it.

They said they filmed some stuff in 3d but the movie was not best suited for 3d. I liked it and it's a day one for me. Base it once you watch a rental not on everybody elses opinions. I remember people telling me to buy Ponyo on here when it first came out, worst decision ever. Just rent and if ya like it, pick it up.

Ponyo is great piece of animation.

Same here. I'm saving up for the TV since I already have the player. It is a 3 disc set. I wish these movie companies would just do away with the different single formats and just do everything as combo packs IMHO but that is a discussion for another forum...

The 3d was not that great..it was like thrown in at the last minute... script/story was bad..the main character was an idiot. The only thing that was good about it was the trailer. The ending was stupid. It's a rental...

It is.

Its a 3D disc + 2D disc + and a DVD Copy.

This looks like Sony's first 'Combo' release for 3D - doing away with 3D/2D on the same disc. Pretty odd actually. We'll have to wait for reviews to confirm it, but I think reviews might be a bit .....different on this title and all Sony titles going forward.

I guess, I know I personally hated it. How ever, different opinions is what makes this world go round. I just don't understand the people coming in here just to rag on a movie that people will buy because they like it. Wht do I know though, this is the internetz. Serious business.
