Wow, glad I picked this one up when I did. $100 is insane.
Is the paperback not good enough for you? I prefer hardcover as well, but only when the price difference is negligible. In this case, you can get the paperback for only $10 at Amazon. No matter what you pay for the hardcover, it's gonna be significantly more than that.

amazon has a couple listed in the used as still in packaging for 49.99.
