Sorry for the cryptic title. I needed to shorten it and couldn't resist using "IV" a bunch of times.
Only works for people who had GTA IV SE for Xbox 360 preordered before the 1-3-08.
I had my Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition preordered at Amazon around New Years. There was a thread (now in the graveyard) for an accidental price decrease to $59.99 on the 3rd of January. It was only for a really short time. I emailed Amazon and asked them if I would be able to get the $59.99 price adjusted as it's part of their Preorder Guarantee and it was done. I just saved $30.
(note: Amazon usually adjusts prices automatically to the lowest on preorders, but I guess they didn't do it for this one since it was a mistake.)
Be nice to the folks with your requests. Their customer service is one of the best around.

- Have your order number for the game.
- Click Help on the Amazon page.
- On the right side under Contact Us click Customer Service button.
- Click on the email tab
- Put in your order number.
- Choose Returns and Refunds for your issue.
- Write a nice note saying you saw it for $59.99 for a short time and you'd like your preorder price adjusted.
