Has anybody tried this gaming wheel? It looks like a controller in the middle and a steering wheel with foot pedals for when you want to drive. Says its for GTA and GT games. I've only ever seen it at Best Buy and wanted to know how much of a piece of junk it may or may not be.

I wouldn't mind a direct link to it (couldn't find it on the site), but it's probably crap since GTA doesn't support wheels.
 
Why would you need a wheel for GTA? It's not like it's the best simulation in the world... =)

And I've been hearing about a wheel that does 2.5 turns each direction. *drool*

I was just curious. To me, it looks like another case of "let's capitalize on the biggest game around somehow" scheme. just a little curious about it, though. Would be nice to play regular gta with somewhat-regular controls, then enter a car and move around with a racing wheel and pedals. Just kinda seems SOMEWHAT interesting, anyway.
 
That's why it made me curious. If they had it up playin gta, I would. But they would never do that, gta isn't public-friendly ;)
 
the $150 one is the logitech one made for gt4 and other driving games which is mad expensive but probably very good...this gta wheel is $30
 
The Logitech has 900 degree turning ability, and it only works in games that support it ... there was some weirdo who had a project to turn a normal wheel into a 900 degree wheel that would work with some PS2 games, but I don't have the site off the top of my head :p

He also made a hardware clutch pedal system and showed Ridge Racer on the PS2 with it in wmv format.
