Best Buy has the X-plorer Guitar Hero II controller priced at $49.99. Combine this with either a GGC or a Gamepro coupon and you can pick it up for $44.99. I stopped by Circuit City and Ebgames/Gamestop and they both had the controller priced at $59.99 (retail pricing?).

The best buys had around 40 guitars a few days ago and now there are only a handful left. They seem to be going fast, but if you can get one for $45 I think its the best deal you'll see for awhile.

The coop modes in this game are insanely fun btw, highly recommend them.

I have never seen the guitar in Best Buy. I did buy one at EBGames though. However, it had a broken button, and I got the last one, so I'm waiting for them to get another to exchange it.

I thought about doing this, but who would want to buy just the game? It hasn't been out long enough for people to just need the game (instead of the guitar).

But in the same breath, I'm sure somebody will pony up the money thinking they could get both the guitar and game for cheaper individually.
 
I saw just the guitar at Target yesterday but it was priced at 89.99 with the bundle sticker underneath. I'm sure it would probably ring up at 59.99 but I just thought it was funny.

I bet if you could get your hands on the guitar at best buy you could snag a copy on ebay because I think quite a few people are havng the same thought as jhaymond01. If you could score the game for about 30 bucks you would get the whole package for about 75.
 
is bb even doing the ggc anymore? I tried to grab one a couple weeks ago and all of the stores I went to simply did not have them at all, and said they weren't doing them anymore.

I had the same problem at my BB. They have them for PC games but no luck with consoles.
