probably people taking advantage of the free van halen because they either like van halen or want to flip it too... so odds are the manual you get will have a code you can't use to get your free van halen.

actually, the 10 dollar gift card is no longer listed on amazon that I see...and with edge it takes it to 40 dollars shipped for a game that came out yesterday, but ya if this goes through def a good chance the code for van halen is redeemed, but I have absolutely no interest in van halen and it will most likely go the way of the aerosmith gh and be had for like 10 bucks in a few months. Also I had cheap gamestop credit.

ya, if this isn't a glitch it is definitely possible that you could get a valid VH code, i mean whoever would have traded in this game day of release may not have a valid receipt to get VH due to the fact they probably obtained it through illegal means. worth a shot and can always return it. I do think this may be a glitch though.

Hmm, you appear to be right.
I suppose it could be a glitch, but I can see a lot of people knowing of the B1G1 offer and grabbing it in the morning, redeeming the code, and selling it back to gamestop. Given that this is cheapassgamer, we should all know that's highly likely.

except I don't know how profitable that would be. If gamestop is selling it for 49.99 used day 1, they cannot be given a ton of credit for it, I'd guess like 20 dollars and there arent any good trade in promo's going on to bump that up to much, and I'd venture to say VH will not have a very big trade in value given all the free copies people will trade in.
