I dunno, personally I'm tired of all celebrities feeling like they need to be political experts. She was not the first person to say this so, personally, I'm just like, whatever.
My biggest problem with people saying that it 9/11 was our fault is that I'd be willing to bet that the vast majority of the people that died on 9/11 had absolutely nothing to do with some of the things that the terrorists were upset about. If they were upset about what we did, by killing our innocent civilians, that makes them no better than us. Eye for an eye just leaves everyone blind.
Oh, btw, has anyone seen Secretary? Horrible movie, I mean its one of those movies that does a bunch of wierd stuff trying to portray itself as artsy and it comes across as basically a movie on sexual deviancy (including a scene of self defication)... Horrible, just horrible. If she were to apologize for anything, that is what I would want her to apologize for.
yep, it would be like saying that OKC was our fault (though I could understand someone's disgust with the government with how Waco was handled, going to such extremes was un-necessary).
and as far as celebrities stating their opinion, I do agree with you. Though with that said, the first American I heard say that america was at fault for the acts of 9/11 was Jerry Falwell, so ideological biases on how people view the attack should not be mentioned in the criticisms people say about her (I know you said nothing, but I can see someone about to bash people in Hollywood for being so left)
