i got some parts from a guy i worked with and needed to replace the motherboard.
it is now time for me to retire my "old" desktop
I have an AMD Opteron 270 (Dual Core) OC'd to 2.5 Ghz with no voltage increase and stable.
-(had it up to 2,6, but backed it down to trouble shoot an issue. the issue -was with the RAM chip and not the CPU)
Gigabyte MoBo GA-K8NSC-939 with an Nvidia nForce3 250Gb chip
XFX 6800GT AGP GPU (i believe 512MB ram)
i have installed 3 GB of DDR 333Mhz memory.
-(i have an extra 1GB chip that i will send along, but this would give me -occasional issues.

400 PSU
simple white antec case i believe.
NO Hard drive!!
it will run Win 7 32-bit with no issues and very quick. however, there is not a large support for Windows 7 64-bit drivers. makes me sad
was looking for $100 and you to pay the shipping.
also willing to have someone trade in an xbox 360 with RROD, (as long as it is the red right of upper left, bottom left, bottom right) and it must include a power cable
then i would be willing to shave $20 or $25 off. i would then pay shipping to you and you would pay to ship the xbox to me. i would also provide you with my paypal to provide the rest of the funds for the PC
