Why are they letting him do another one. I wonder who is doing the new "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movie.

it was in last weeks entertainment weekly book... cant remember who it is... Why do they just remake them.. they should make new parts...


go out to see a remake for 10 bucks.. or rent the old verison for 25 cents

I think Robert Englund at one point was going to do it but then changed his mind. However when I read that I also read that Wes was writing and directing the movie. Bad thing is I read that on more then a few sites and don't know how good they are for their news being correct.

Back to the topic did the first remake of Halloween really do that well for them to make another?
 
Is Rob Zombie doing this one too? I still haven't seen his remake of the first one yet. Was going to get it on Blu-Ray last Halloween but I just got the 28 Days/Weeks Later double pack instead.

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess he is.
