First off, if this is in the wrong thread, I apologize. Anyway, I got home from work today, checked my email, and found a bunch of ebay listings that I didn't make. Sure enough, my account was hacked. The strange thing is, the person modified the contact info and verified, so it couldn't be changed. That problem will be taken care of by ebay, but I'm wondering if the name it was changed to could actually be the person that hacked into the account. What do you guys think?

Would make sense. I wasnt aware that you could change ebay names.

You can change ebay usernames, it shows up on all your listings for 30 days that you changed it.
Yeah, that was one of the first things I did. I was able to change my ebay password, and one of the security resolution workers got rid of the listings the person made, but his contact info is still there, and will be for another 24 to 48 hours until they can undo it.
