I'm looking for Half Life since I lost the cd-key to mine and can't use it to play anything online since it's all through steam now. The cheapest I can find is 19.99, but can anyone find it lower? I'd expect it to be a bit cheaper since it is almost 7 years old now.

have you ever played it? it's an awesome game. i've also got a few friends who still play CS 1.6 that want me to play.

Do you have any HL stuff? Any of the expansions or add-ons?
If not, look for the Platinum Edition #2. I think it's like $20, these days and comes w/ everything.

i only have half life goty edition, which i lost the cdkey to. i was looking around and i think the platinum edition is usually like $25. But i have always wanted to try opposing force and blue shift.

Anyone know what to do if I have the cdkey for Half Life but lost the actual cd? Is there a way I can still play the game?

Also, I registered with Steam but have forgotten what account I used.

i believe that if you just log onto steam you can go to the browse games section and then click on "register a game i already own." It should automatically download for you, though i'm not positive.

As far as finding your account, not sure, try contacting steam.

I didn't really want to spend more than $10, but I still haven't played any of the expansions and that platinum edition is looking mighty tempting.
