Ever since I've found this site I've spent more on games than I would have. The deals from this site have made it so easy to "justify" getting a game.

i never buy anything without a discount.
the second sight deal is tempting me too.

this site causes me to spend more money, but not to miss any good deals. so when i do buy something, it's something i want,

i was going to buy metal arms and i-ninja at 15 a piece, metal arms went clearance and i-ninja went to 10 at eb, spent just over 15 for both.

Not spending full price anymore, but spending WAY more total. Have a dozen or so shrinkwraped games I've yet to play but couldn't pass up due to their cheapass prices.

Agreed, always on the look out for cheap shit but never playing it..

before this site I used too make a list of the games I wanted and would buy them at full price when they came out never straying from the list too buy any other games because they were too expensive, due too this site I have nearly doubled the amount of games I have and I no longer use a list, I just buy the games I want at cheapass prices.

Just last month, I totaled up all of the money I spent. I think it was just over the $160 mark. Ouch. I think I bought 20 games in July. So, CAG is costing me more, but in the long run, I'm saving.

I've spent lots due to the cheap sales the past few months (BB, CC, all the EB Games deals), but I've traded for a ton of my wants and picked up lots of stuff I never thought I'd find cheap. but just like lots of the previous posts, I spend way more time searching and spending than I do playing. the PS 1 RPG collection continues to wait... 8)

ive found that thanks to great deals, its easier for me to tell what games are better then others because the values are adjusted and im not spenindg 50 bucks on every game and saying "well this was a waste of 50 bucks.." when i was a little kid.

I'm spending about the same, I'm getting more for my money. Because of that I have a pile of unopened games. One of these days I'll get around to them.
Spending slightly more, but the use of the trading forum has helped to stem some of the spending.
exactly.

Well lets put it this way I went from 23 games to 65 thanks to this site. Not only that I bought a GBA: SP and 7 games.

Wow... that's actually made me feel like I haven't been bad about it. Let's see I've only added four titles, but I'm still being tempted by three others. I have set a limit to $100 till the end of the year on game purchases, starting now.
I think I spend more time spending than gaming.
yeah i am spending more time trading and shopping for deals than i actually am spending playing the games but i will take a break from gaming after the next couple of months.

I'd say I'm buying many more games (the early heads up on CC makes that an easy statement!! - I went on July 3rd) . . . but my spending is about level. Only because of selling off a few items to keep myself close to even. I came out of the CC sale with about 25 games I've kept (some from trades) I sold off about 15 to make the 25 free.

Because of a wife, kids, house . . . I try to keep my game spending low . . . so I do things like -- buy Riddick with a Target raincheck (learned about here on GAG) for $28 . . . play it, beat it and sell it on ebay for $31 shipped (my net was a few bucks) . . . the game wasn't a keeper for me, plus I know I can rebuy it for $15 some day.

I am spending more time shopping for games . . . but that's another thread :D

If it wasn't for CAG, I wouldn't have gone to Target, then BB, and then CC and discovered a certain sale on a certain saturday. I probably would've just gone to BB to get the new Beastie Boys CD.

I think so. I've gone through maybe 50 games this year and without this site I probably would only own a dozen or so at most.

But the bright side is that since I generally wait and pay $10 or less for anything I can sell most of my collection for close to what I paid on eBay (in the process of doing that currently actually.)

I think it has, mainly because I am always on the lookout for cheap games, but not the type to go to the stores all the time, get the sunday paper or spend a lot of time looking for deals.

Now I can get deals delivered while I am at work, and be ready ahead of time for good deals in stores. So I have bought more than I would because I wouldn't have bought without the great deals provided here.
