In this weeks Hastings ad their is a coupon for 25% off any game 49.99 or less. its limit 1 per visit and expires 9/18. not a bad deal at all thats like 12 bucks off any 50 dollar game or like 8 off any GBA game
That's okay, I guess, but Hastings has a deal that's unpublished where you can trade in any four games and get a game for free. In July, they knocked it down to a three for one deal. I picked up Full Spectrum for free. I told Guessed about the deal and he unloaded his CC findings and cleaned house, scoring free copies of Fight Night 04, Ninja Gaiden, Fatal Frame 2, and tons more.
I just came back from Hastings (30 min drive). I wish I knew about coupon.
Got not SE Phantom Brave traded 3 Mobile Light Force and Sphinx (total 4 games , spent $15) for that. Mine doesn't have StarOcean. They ran out, I'll be back when they restock it.
What are the details on this "Trade 4 Get One Free" deal? Are there exclusions and such?

Trade must be of the same format (4 used DVD for 1 new DVD). FREE title cannot exceed MSRP $18.98 CDs $29.99 DVDs and $49.99 Video Games. Must meet buyback requirements. Select used CDs, DVDs & Video Games applicable for trade-in. Sports games are not applicable for trade with the exception of this year's releases. See store for details.
Officially, the 4 for 1 deal requires all games be for the same system, e.g 4 used ps2 games for 1 new ps2 game. Maximum value of the new game is $49.99. And they aren't supposed to take duplicates, but sometimes they will.
Actually, the "restrictions list" is YMMV. Sports titles are also YMMV. They took a Fifa 03 at my local one, while they wouldn't take Stuntman and another game. I went back two weeks later, and they took the Stuntman and other game.
But yes, the four for one deal is quite crazy. I abuse it.
EDIT: OH, but they will NOT take GTA3 or Vice City for XBox seperately. You must have both.
Yeah, and I believe on the cases, it says NOT FOR RESALE on each of them or something along those lines for you to know they're supposed to be sold together.
