My little brother (he's 19 right now) wants to work at Gamestop so he got an application but he has some questions about some of the things that you have to fill in. So what should he write in for some of these sections:

-position applied for
-salary or wage desired
-video game software knowledge

He went to school right now but I'll post some more questions if he has some. Thanks in advance.

For position applied for, I think it would be sales associate (sp?), unless they have an open manager spot and he has managerial experience.

Salary or wage desired I always put "any". That's a funny question, since everyone I've talked to in this area (one of my friend's friends works at GS) get paid minimum wage for being a sales associate, so expect that. 5 dollars and some change isn't near enough money to put up with the customers, imo.

Video game software knowledge is tricky... from what I've heard (and seen first hand) Gamestop usually likes to hire people who in between casual and hardcore... they don't generally hire hardcore gamers, at least in this area.

position will likely be game advisor, pay will be minimum wage, and software knowledge doesnt really matter, just have a good interview and show that you can work well there. and get a second job, because he likely will spend more there than he makes (thats the case for me and my fellow employees)
