Having screen resolution problems

So I got a mini pc and can't get it to display my tv's resolution properly. My tv is 16:9 and I was trying to set it for 720p, but the display settings doesn't have an option for it, nor can it detect the correct ratio. I'm running win7 btw and using my integrated intel gpu. I updated the drivers and nada.

Well yea I know that. It doesn't give me that option. Closest it gives me is 1280x1024. Btw I'm using a VGA cord.

Some GPUs have a pretty low max resolution, it might just be an issue with your GPU not being able to go that high

I'm not too sure. I know the max option is 1920x1440. The real problem is the correct ratio. O just want it to display the native w/o looking stretched.
