Having some trouble with my headset.

I jsut got the Halo2 headset today. Came with the communicator. The problem is when I tried playing some Halo2 on XBL I neve rheard a single sound through it. I set the sound settings so it plays throught eh headset. But that still didn't work.

The green/red light lights up and changes when the button is pressed. I tweaked the volume control while I was playing. But nothing.

I've never had trouble with writing to a memory card from the top slot on the controller.

Do I need some sort of disc to get it to recognize it?

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

I've never had the official headset. Just got XBL hooked up last night and used a trial to get it working. That's why I ask if I eed a disc. Assuming it would come with a XBL kit.

Make sure you have Voice Chat enabled in the Xbox Live Dashboard

If it is broken, this is weird because mine just broke on me and did the same exact thing recently as well. Perhaps a shoddy product? Anyone else have these same problems?

I got to looking through XBL panel on the dashboard and found that voice was disabled for some reason.

I really need to quit making topics and answering them myself.
