HDTV question

So I got an early X-mas present in the form of a 32" LCD Symphonic TV. My mom was cool enough to grab the last one from Wal-Mart when they had it on sale for 600 for their door buster deal. My question is, are there any HDTVs out there that are currently on sale that are about the same price and size that are better than what I have?

The Sony XBR970 (or 960 if you can find one) is probably the best thing in that price range. Right now CC has it on sale for 900 with 18 months financing.

That is if you are willing to go non LCD and and more money. If not probably not for a little while. All the current on-sale LCD sales are out of stock
