Ok Keep a lookout I hear the 18th thru the 21st of September there will be a buy 2 new games get 1 free

This is a good deal considering the games coming out

Toys R Us is going out of buisness slowly but surely everything there will start going on sale.

the TRU be me is closing everything is on clearance. I am surpised they are going out of business. I can only think of 2 nationwide toy retailer TRU and kbtoys. so why are they not doing good in sales. when I was a kid, we would go to toys r us before any other place all my bikes as a kid came from TRU. okay sorry I will stop rambling.

thats funny I am on a Ibook g4 800mhz 640mb ram and 10/100 ethernet
and cable internet 1mbs and I see it fine and does not slow down my mac.

once again..........why don't you people just turn off sigs........i have sigs and avatars and whatever else there is all turned off so i don't have to see other peoples' crap and just get to read the posts without other stuff mixed in
 
Okay, so where did the info that TRU's having a B2G1 sale start? I haven't been in to work in a few days, so I haven't seen our plans, but this is the first I've heard of it.

We're certainly overdue, though.

3 pages of replies.... maybe 2 are about the Toys R' Us thing. As of now I would take it with a grain of salt. I read on VGtalk about a month ago that the B2G1F sale was supposed to be happening sometime in mid August and it never happened.

I've been taking advantage of this deal for the past couple of years now, its great! Just wondering if anyone knows if this can be applied to any games like PC games.
 
The TRU deal has, and always will be, the deals champ.

Year after year It's the only deal that has gotten me anything decent out of it. I have never been able to score well on the clearanced out items, but the TRU deal manages to help me score big. Why? Because heaven forbid someone spend their precious money on two new releases and get one for free. I'm a diehard cheapass and enjoy cheap deals, but this deal is the only deal I get to take advantage of, thanks to the sacrifice you have to make with your wallet which so many people seem unable to do these days.

It's too bad this year im going to have to pass. I already reserved Fable, SVC Chaos, Silent Hill 4 and soon Def Jam for the month of September. I limit my gaming budget to about $100 a month and I combined my budget for September and October so I could take advantage of the September releases. Guess I'll be waiting for the next $10 game at EB *ebil gwin*
 
I hope this is true.

I could really use some of the September games such as Burnout 3, Rocky Legends (sept 28th thoguh), Fable, SW:Battlefront...oh my....lots of good games.
 
For what it's worth, when the 50%-off sale started, I was talking with the guy at the video game department (who actually tipped me off to the 50%-off sale before I came home and read about it here). He was under the impression that the B2G1 sale was supposed to start one of the last 2 weeks of August.

I've been so busy with work I haven't had time to check up on it but from this post it would seem it hasn't started yet?

TRU is getting crushed by Wal-Mart and Target in sales. Also, TRU never has sales or any kind of deal worth while except this B2G1 deal. That is when everyone buys from TRU. The recent clearance sale has definitely helped also. My guess is that they are still going to go out of business.
 
BigC's posts killed my computer too. I'm only using a dial-up connection. People need to consider that when making ridiculous moving sigs and avatars. The reason I don't turn off sigs is the trading forum. Everyone's tradelist is in the sig. Does that answer your question?
