So my wife bought herself a nice headset w/ mic for her PC. She uses it for WoW raids, so I dont have to hear all her dopey guildmates on ventrilo.

Anyway, she bought a USB headset, but her desktop PC uses a soundcard, with the standard phono/headphone inputs for the headset and mic. Now some USB headsets come with an adapter, but of course not this one.

So what I need is a female USB to dual male phono/headphone connectors, or some combination of parts that would make this possible.

Thanks in advacne for your help! :D

So what happens when you plug it in? Does it show up in the device manager?

You should be able to select the USB Headset in Ventrillo(NO idea I use Teamspeak) or in the windows sound settings.

You could always return the USB headset and get a different one.

It shows up when plugged into the PC. And I think she could setup ventrilo to use it, but she wants to use it for game sound and ventrilo. Since she has a sound card in the pc, I assumed thay any speaker/headphones need to be plugged into that soundcard, and it doesnt have a USB port on it.

I tried plugging it into a USB port on the PC and no game sound came thru the headphones obv.
