Hey guys-
So I have a crappy TimeWarner router with one ethernet port going to my airport express- I need to connect to XBL, and I am not paying for a network adapter, or a new router--
I literally spent 2 hours last night searching google and trying all the methods and suggestions for bridging my PowerBook (12 inch, G4, Tiger 10.4.1.) with my Xbox via ethernet, but when it comes to the IP Address Verification, it always says 'failed'.
I have done everything according to the online posts- (on the mac) activated internet sharing, opened the firewire ports, found my IP addresses (on the xbox) manually entered the new IP addresses and subnet, and routing numbers-- it always comes back failed!
Did anyone, or is anyone having this same problem? I tried everything! Any suggestions?
Thanks.
