In my last semester of my RN program. I have loved it so far. It is tough. Make sure to get you a good Littmann. Good luck. If you need any help or advice let me know.

Yeah, a good Littman is a must. I finished school in April of 2005. I have a FT job working 2 days a week, 40 hours pay plus benefits. I really love the job, but its is a challenge for a man in this field. But, you will score the ladies.

I'm curious, how is it a challenge for the man?
 
I highly suggest the Littmann Masters Classic 2 black edition. I use that stethoscope and love it. The best around for the money and looks very nice.

Trust me, working with 85% of women. Women like to compete for the male's attention. Cat fights. Sexual threats. Gaining respect as a supervisor. Answering the orientation questions. Rumors about yourself. And I have not even discussed the relationship's with patients.
