Hey everyone, please take a few minutes of your time to sign this petition!
To make this short - a petition needs to reach a count of 100,000 signatures by February 23rd which is 3 days from now in order to make Unlocking phones legal! I was looking at it yesterday when it was only at 70,000+ signatures - I checked it today once again - and already in 1 day it reached 94,000 signatures! Only 6000 more to go!
This is important! You will be doing yourself a favor and big help to every one else who are into phones! Every signaturet counts! For example - if you ever buy an iPhone without a contract whether on ebay or craigslist or any where else even in an authorized online retailer and you would like to use it with any other carrier besides the one that the phone is locked to - you would need to get it unlocked! Lately legal factory unlock codes have been sold on ebay for $2-$4 dollars for iPhones and other phones as well which is a permanent factory unlock done legally - not jailbroken or any of that crap.
