I am looking for a action, adventure 3rd person shooter.
I have already played gta and mercenaries(awesome game).
If you find me a good game i have not played i'll give you a
!FREE 2-month X-box live card!

:D p.s. - i have 3 cards and i don't lie. THANK YOU:D

Let's see,
-some of the bond games (Everything or Nothing, etc.)
-The psychic powers games (Psi-ops and Second Sight)
-Futurama (only if you love Futurama the show and can put up with the gameplay for the funny cinemas)
-Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (not much adventure, mostly action)

You seem a fan of the open-environment style games so what about Gun? Marc Ecko's Getting Up: CUP has been getting somewhat decent reviews for a new release too.

Also some cheaper alternatives include The Suffering, The Thing, Freedom Fighters, Metal Arms: Glitch in the system (suprisingly fun in multiplayer as well), Armed & Dangerous, and even Machassault 1 & 2 would qualify I guess.

im looking for something like mercenaries. 3rd person view guns cars helicopter melee you get the point?

ps i know about the outfit and dont have a 360 yet

You sure are being very picky and rude for being a new member and someone who wants help. If you want to shoot stuff, Total Overdose is a good little game. No cars or choppers, but it blows up real nice.

Well, in destroy all humans you can get in a flying saucer....I personally have only played the demo, but i know a couple people who said it was decent.

let me throw a few $5-20 budget titles out here;

The Punisher, The Thing, Nam 67, Onimusha, Manhunt, Kill Switch, Run Like Hell, Conflict: Vietmam.

Isn't Advent Rising 3rd person. Someone might have mentioned that one already...

in that case, i'd second Duo_Maxwell's suggestion of Metal Arms. you play as a robot; it's pretty much all shooting with some vehicle levels though no helicopters as far as I remember. Plus it's crazy cheap these days.

I recommend the Splinter Cell games. Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory have really good multiplayer online. The single player is really good to play through too.

Just adding to what's been said:
Advent Rising - Awesome story music and some cool abilities. Maxing out melee is the way to go
Psi-ops - Everyone is right. One of the best games ever
Freedom Fighters - Lots of shooting, but very tight gameplay
Kill-Switch - First game I remember to have the blind firing ability and very solid gameplay. Fairly repetitive, but fun.
Special Forces Nemesis Strike - A Kill-Switch knockoff that is far less polished and balanced, but for some reason I find it fun to play, even against better judgment

Actually, Stubbs is one of the better games out there. It's quirky, has vehicles you can drive around, melee combat and well, its just plain fun.

I second the MechAssault series, unless of course you play #2 and want to take your save files on a mem card to a buddies house. 200+ blocks, YIKES!!!

What about Red Dead Revolver? Sure, there are no vehicles but its a fun game.

And, its cheap at Circuit City, either $10.96 or $13.96, I forget which.

I also recommend Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance. It is an oldie but a goodie. One of the best games i have ever played.

If you like free roaming games like Grand Theft Auto and Mercenaries, you make like Driver 3 and True Crime Streets of LA or True Crime Streets of NY.

aw screw it ill probably buy mercenaries again.
i hope there will be a mercs 2. that would be awesome.
ow i bought freedom fighters its ok and no cars.

Battlefield 2 -- guns, vehicles, online, 'nuff said
Max Payne 2 -- gun porn
Armed & Dangerous -- a great shooter with awesome weapons
Freedom Fighters
Psi-Ops
Beyond Good and Evil
Whacked!

Try Phantom Dust, its a fun little third person game. Also Conker isn't too bad if you havent already played in on the N64. Also Psychonauts is a fun platformer, but doesnt have guns. Thru your post you seem realy closed minded on expanding the platform. Also like other CAG's said try Psi Ops, thats a fun game with guns and stuff, no vehicles that I can recall. Castlevania CoD is fun, though I only played it on the PS2, not the X-Box.
sorry about being rude but i am offering something
You're offering an expired 2 month trial. Well, i'm assuming it's expired. We give those away here. I personally have 22.

As for my recommendations.. I agree with BG&E, Armed & Dangerous, and Psi-Ops. Unreal Championship 2 is excellent (and cheap).

I agree,
BG&E, and UC 2 are both awesome.
I traded 3 games I hadn't touched in over a year for UC 2 and was pleasantly surprised. My Xbox is on the fritz, but I may still pickup Psi-Ops. I hadn't heard much about it, but from what you all have said I may have to pick it up for that price and take it to my brothers to play.
