Help me find this story

[Technique]

My friend was telling me about this sharpshooter who was paranoid of dying so he set up this really complex security system in his house. My friend said he saw it on TV, but he can't remember what station. He said the guy's house didn't have any major windows if it did have any and it involved some sensors in a hallway to his bedroom that would sound an alarm if anyone else was in there. He would be awakened by the alarm and then he would run to a sniper rifle that looked directly down the hallway.

I know this description is sort of vague, but this really sounds interesting to me for some reason. If any of you know what I'm talking about can you post a link to it (if you can find it)?

I know, but there's video of the guy and the house and probably some form of interview. So yes, I know the story, but I want to see the video.

I remember seeing that on Real TV or a show very similar to it. And it wasnt a sniper rifle. The guy had a shotgun set up at his one window because burglars broke in that same window three times in the past year. And the shot gun is rigged to shoot as soon as someone opens the window up from the outside. If I remember correctly, the dude that did that ended up going to jail for wreckless endangerment (I guess the thinking is if there was a fire and fire people or police had to get in they'd be the ones being shot).
