Help with dual shock 3 please

can the dual shock 3 controller be charged through a computer? about how much time it requires to become fully charged?
 
It can. I never really pay attention to how long mine takes, though. I usually just plug it in, come back to it a few hours later, and it's done.

My guess is ~2 hours, from dead to full, but I'm really not sure.
