I was just wondering if anyone has heard Hillary's comments on the Iraqi election as of late as well as her commenting on a troop departure date. I don't know about you but she sounded an awful lot like Bush in her speaking about it.
What was really funny was the Conservative talk show host who mentioned it said Hillary wouldn't win the Presidency. shakes head. It's great how scared they are of her. Hannity and this guy dismiss her and we all know it's because we KNOW she could win.
Thoughts?

Hillary = Dumbass
Bush = Dumbass

If she won I'm not just moving to Canada, I'll move to Europe, I don't want to be on the some continet as that fuck.

I don't know how you can think Hillary is worse than Bush. Between Jeb and Hillary I'd vote Hillary though that's one of the few situations it would happen. Jeb is honestly more of a danger to the government than Hillary will ever be, in other words she won't try to outsource the entire government as much as possible.

Bill, I don't think he said that Hillary was worse than bush but simply that they were both dumbasses. I happen to agree with him as a matter of fact too.

I would highly, highly, highly (highly, highly) doubt that Hillary could win the presidency. Its not even Hillary herself that's the problem (though she can be somewhat abrassive, at times), but the fact that the Republicans have already spent 8 years during Bill's presidency portraying her as the spawn of Satan (mostly to keep their own party together, after their near-death experience in 1992. Nothing like an evil super-villain to scare people into working together.) Combine that with the fact that she's a woman and there's still a lot of sexists in the US, and you have guaranteed defeat. 50% or more of the country would automatically and reflexively vote against her without even bothering to listen to anything she has to say.

There was just a poll out showing over 50% of americans thought hillary should run, though I'm having trouble finding it. Saw it a few days ago though. Personally I'd vote for her over any other candidate, I'd vote for her over bill (if he could run again).

What you're forgetting is that 40% is made up of Republicans who think Hillary will give them an easy victory. Only the other 10% is people who actually would vote for her :p

:lol: I'm sure some are Republicans. Hillary's negative perception ratings are at or above 50%. When that many people view you negatively already, it's hard to win them over...a lot harder than winning people who don't know you or are undecided. That's why people think Hillary can't win. However, she is certainly playing the game hard and fast, moving to the center like crazy in the past couple months. If she can recast herself as a moderate despite a solid liberal record, she has a chance. To win, she must succeed where Dean failed.

Bush won with some pretty strong negative numbers.

I find it amusing that Hillary has so many haters out there. Why hate her? What has she done that makes her a pariah? Is it because she's not the shrinking violet kinda wife? It's time we stopped fearing strong women. Is it because she stayed with Bill despite his philandering? Some might call that family values. The one time she really stuck her nose out was for health care reform and she got smacked down hard. I think a big part is fear of her winning. Bill knows how to win against the GOP and with him behind her, it would be a good run.

I'm not calling her my favorite candidate (I don't have one at this point) but I don't see her as a negative one. I know I'd vote for her over anyone with any connection to this White House.

Again, it really has absolutely nothing to do with anything she's done. Its because after the Republican party nearly split apart in '92 (with Perot sucking away a huge number of the traditional Republicans who wanted smaller government), they party needed something to unify them. That something wound up being Clinton hatred, both Hillary and Bill. It wasn't anything that either of them did - they simply happened to be conveniently available.

Rush and his associates spent 8 years making Hillary into a Satanic figure. It really didn't matter what she did or didn't do, they twisted anything and everything into making her sound like evil incarnate. There's a huge number of people in the country who have been brainwashed into hating her without even knowing her position - they're the same people who still believe that WMDs were found in Iraq. Logic and reality don't matter to these people. Hillary can't win because she's already lost far too much of the voting population before you even begin to examine her positions on anything.
