Or maybe both. Goddamn I want to love this game but it is so frustrating and unforgiving. I had heard that it was easier to get into and complete compared to the other Hitman games but I am not having any luck. I beat the tutorial and the first level and needed a FAQ for that. Any general advice or is this game just not for me?

I found it pretty boring, honestly. I 1ked it and sold it right away back in the day.

It takes a LOT of getting used to. Start off on the easiest difficulty and either go to youtube and find hitman silent assassin videos. Those will show you how to do it properly. A bit boring, but it works.

I remember when I played Hitman 2 I was very frustrated, getting demolished in the first mission. After 2 hours or so I got used to it and the rest of the game was cake. So maybe just keep at it?

hitman isn't difficult. it's just very specific. you need to do certain things in order to pass a mission without getting noticed. it can get really annoying when you have no Idea what you're doing.

That's the problem I'm having. When I read a FAQ it's easy enough to do what I want to do, but the trial and error gameplay just seems dated.

I will try again, but I'm more and more getting the feeling that this game/series is not for me.

Oh, and Jesus, I AM hard.

I remember getting Blood Money just after playing run and gun games like The Club and its slow pace put me off. It's a good game but it requires a lot of patience and there aren't too many action sequences, from what I remember correctly. If you don't like the game within the first hour or so, I'd say it's not for you.
It really didn't feel like a 360 game at all.
Because it was designed with PS2, XBox and PC in mind. The next Hitman game will feel like a 360 game. The majority of earlier 360 games were multiplatform and just given a new coat of paint for the 360 (Gun, THAW, etc).

I've loved every Hitman game.. Hitman 2 was the worst in the series to me. Contracts was AWESOME because there were a lot of flashbacks to missions from the first. Blood Money was pretty fun.

One of my gavorite games ever. I hardly ever actually wen't stealthy. I would just start off the mission and just kill everyone. I love the opera level.

My favorite was always the neighborhood level. I would kill the clown, give a sausage injected with sedative to the dog, sedate the wife in the sauna and take the necklace, then somehow kill an agent, take his costume.. then cave in and kill everyone.

I think my second favorite was the Christmas party. At the beginning of the level, if you look up, you can see the bottom of the hot tub on the second level. If you shoot the bottom out, everyone in it gets sucked out like they're sucked down a drain and they fall all the way down from the second floor. Yeah, I'm a little sadistic in that game.

I loved that level. I would strangle the jogger and throw him down that shaft, run across the street and kill the neighbor. Inject the donuts with poison and kill the guards in the truck. Then stuff the trash guys in the compactor. :D

This is one of my favourite games, and one of the very few I actually got all 1000 Achievement points. Silent Assassin for the win! Replaying the Neighborhood level and just sniping everyone from the tree house was fun. There is a huge pile of bodies and the FBI guys just keep strolling around the corner. Or how about the BBQ blowing up and the wife staggering around and then falling into the pool. Good times.
