hmm..Anyone else feel cheated by Warhawk??

While i was happy to pay 40 to download the game (even with the restrictions that other dloadable games dont have) for 40dollars compared to having to wait weeks to get a copy shipped to me for 59+shipping.

They are now releasing just the disc for 40dollars in stores.
I would much rather have the disc then a downloaded file on my ps3 especially now that they are the same price i am feeling kind of cheated.

I wouldnt mind as much if this 40dollar disc version came out a year from now.
But it looks like the devs just wanted to sell more copies of the game ASAP and i do agree this is a great way to sell your game with a 40dollar price point i just dont like feeling cheated

I like that I can download it. I have 2 PS3's this makes it easier to move games around, now if theyd only make the save file save to my PSN id. But I doubt this kind of usage is normal.

I bought the disc in the first place. IMO, this is nothing new, because this is the same as a price drop. Although there was never a download version of Socom available, SCEA did the same by releasing a non-headset version a bit later.

I think SCEA initially decided to include a headset because many people were needing one. With the demand for a disc without a headset (since there are some who just prefer to buy their own headset, already have one, or just don't want to use one), I think SCEA decided to change their mind.

More so, I think this is a lesson SCEA learned on how they'll handle these types of games in the future.

I was not only expecting this, I was hoping for it. I didn't really want to download the game, because there's just something about owning the disc and always having the disc to fall back on.

But like mentioned above, I already own a bluetooth that I use for my cellphone, so paying $20 extra really wasn't a wise fiscal decision. Granted, I had to hold off on buying it while people tell me how awesome it is, but now that I can get the disc-only version for $20 less, I'm much more likely to bite.



...hmmm...I wonder if I have any random Best Buy gift cards lying around...
