holiday bundle deal and transfer question

sorry if this is in the wrong section

there is a new 250GB xbox slim holiday bundle. you get the system and alan wake and forza 3.

so I want to buy a holiday bundle slim 360 250gb.
i was thinking about just getting the 4gb but i want to save my drive from burning out by installing the games.

if i go and trade in my xbox and 120gb drive to gamestop, will they let me bring home to transfer the data?

for the people that have traded in with gamestop, can someone walk me step by step through this process.

i remember i heard somewhere they give you a week to bring back the old hd. is that true?

I decied to trade in because i saw the ad starting black friday gamestop will give an extra $25 for system trade in.

Definatley get the 250 gig. I bought the halo reach slim. I took my HD off my old 360 and traded in just the console.(50$). took home the reach console and borrowed a friends Xsfer cable and downloaded my old HD to the new Slim then sold the HD outright. you can also trade it in seperately to Gamestop.
