A shame that there's like.. zero games.

Wow! Don't know about that "other" auction, but I've never seen anything like this. Shipping alone is going to be a fortune.

Yeah. I would be heading out to pick all that up if I won! There's no way I would want all of that shipped!

There was this auction a few months ago, it was ridiculous. I can't even describe it. There were like 20 special edition versions of each console (ps2, xbox, gameboy, GC, etc). They even had several bottles of some special PS2 Celebration wine.

If someone could find a link that that would be greatly appreciated

Was that was the museum like auction that even defender wished he could have? That one was so big the guy couldn't even list all the names of the games he included.

You lie! :D

You get four games in the lot - California Games for the Lynx, Wizard of War and Gun Slinger for the Retrocade, and two copies of Mario Tennis for the Virtual Boy.

He says that he's got 290 working systems in the auction. That's about one game for every 73 systems.

It's a damn impressive hardware lot, but I've got a feeling that it would sell much, much better with a few more games...[/quote]

That is the most insane auction ive ever seen. Cant imagine the shipping charges. It would probably be cheaper to drive a moving van to pick it all up.

A lot of stuff thats for sure, reminds me of that one crazy auction a few years ago, reached 50 thousand and reserve still not met. Penny Arcade did a comic on it, the amount of games the guy was selling was staggering.

How someone would amass such a large collection is unimaginable. Either way, greatest display of dork that I have ever seen.

I bet you whoever wins all of that will turn around and resell all of it back on Ebay and probably triple the money spent.

what dcemulation says, gbax.com won the auction. That's nuts that they spend so much on it, but I guess they could pay it and will still be able to turn a profit.
