Holy Shaq-Fu, Shaq!!

I heard about this on Jim Rome is burning while waiting for the PTI/ATH power hour and what I don't understand is his $25,000 for gas a month.

probably drives one of those big ass gas guzzling hummers. and maybe they take into account flying from place to place which can be expensive even if you own your own plane. i doubt some of that is legit though or considering he divorced his wife maybe her bills are added into that and he could be taking care of his mothers bills as well. thats way too much to spend in a month unless somewhere in there is a bill for hookers and strippers then im not buying it.

I don't believe this for one second. Look at this BS:

- $24,300 for gas; IMPOSSIBLE - even at 25 gallons a tank and $4 a gallon it's still 243 full tanks a month
- $6,730 for dry cleaning; IMPOSSIBLE - even if he went to the most overpriced place on the planet that charged $20 per garment it's over 300 things each month - is he changing clothes 10 times a day? WTF???

Airplane gas. Wouldn't be surprised if he owns a private jet or charters one.

This is ridiculous. $100k+ a month on vacations? Impossible. And if he really spends $900,000 a month, his $100 million contract money will last just under 10 years. And I doubt seriously that they wrote him a $100 million check when they signed him.

You know how much money it is for the best hotel room in a luxury resort?

They probably charge him extra for his dry cleaning. Those jolly green giant sized clothes must take forever to clean.

Ahh, see I thought it was all from his car.

Why doesn't he just fly with the team?

Also, those vacation costs are probably just for the offseason, not once a month or something.

And you know he makes enough to pay the bills just off the icy hot commercials, lol.

FYP

All the costs are probably for all the people working for him (chaffeur, cook, gardener, body guards, etc).

the money he spends is ridiculous, but he will never run out of money. he has been playing for 15 years so he's been getting contract money for the whole time plus insane amounts of money from endorsements for 15 years and after he retires the endorsements will keep coming.

and also i remember him saying a few years back that he never cashed a contract check, and that he lived of his endorsement/sponsor money

the cable bill baffles my mind

awesome. how very responsible. nobody needs to live like that or make that much money for playing basketball, but that's just my opinion.

I couldn't agree more. We have got some fucked up priorities in this culture. Oh, wait: he has mad "Kazaam" money. That's much better.

I disagree. I very much need to get paid millions just for playing basketball.

Isn't this what people usually do when they file for divorce? They say their monthly bills and living expenses are 100x's what they really are so it looks like they don't have much to spare for spouse support?

Also other monthly reported expenses

$700 - Icy Hot back patches.
$500.76 - Glade Air Freshner spray
$ 12,000 - Doctor bills for people that attempted to kill themselves after watching Kazaam.

Boku Boku Boku.

I wish I had $26,500 a month for child care. I thought my daughter was getting very good care for $700 a month...geez
