Hooking NES with AV cables? Is it possible?

My oldnes never gets used anymore because I don't want to use the rf to hook it up to my gaming tv. Is their anyway to hook it up with av cables?

check on the side and you only need to use the red and white I think

they have RF to RCA adapters at radioshack and places like that...wont cost very much either

I have mine hooked up with a/v cables. Let me just say, it is so awesome playing legend of zelda and kung-fu on my dolby digital reciever.

lol, if u realy wanted u could go to radio shack and buy a monster cable that splits monoraul audio into two discrete stereo channels. This way your nes audio will sound bitchin

its the same channel, just split into two. They're not distinct stereo channels.

Whatever, monster cable rulez, its the best. if you dont have monster cable, your not really hearing your sound as you should. lol JK monster cable = rip off.

Do not use RF switches. The quality of the games are terrible. Mine is hooked on RF and i have never seen such trashj looking games before in my life.

I grew up playing mine on a computer monitor with the av outs on side. I wasn't allowed to play on any tv's. "It will burn into the picture" (my mom nagging) I now have a top loader that does not have the av outs, only the single out for the rf. The difference is there, but nothing to major. If you have the normal system I definetely recommend using the av outs.
