I was thinking of buying one of the following arcade sticks...
Hori Real Arcade Pro EX SE or Mad Catz Super Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick Tournament Ed

Any thoughts or opinions on which to buy and where to get the best deal? Will it elevate my Super Street Fighter IV play to the next level? I'm currently using the Mad Catz Fightpad.

personally i like da SE cause its higher lol

I have the HRAP EX-SE, and I love it! The only thing is I prefer the Sanwa buttons that come on the TE stick over the Hori buttons (I think they are Seimitsu buttons). Either way, you can't go wrong. You will get much better if you use a stick instead of the FightPad, which is what I used to use. :)
 
Both sticks are great sticks, it's just a matter of preference. Me? I like the TE because I can't stand Seimitsu buttons. I do like the button layout on the Hori though (the curve placement, not so much the weird SNK Neogeo button layout though). I do love the base of the stick as well. Now the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX SA... that one uses Sanwa parts. I would say that the EX SA is more of something I would buy, then the TE then the SA.
