How do you think you did? You don't need our approval. If you feel you paid a good amount for this stuff, than you did fine.
I'm trying to match my standards to those of a true cheap ass. To match those standards, I need to know how well I am doing compared to those standards. I'm happy with my purchases, but I could be doing better. How else would I know unless I ask?

Who are we to say... you've been here since 2004, you probably know this better than us!

If you're trying to match my standards then I say you utterly failed and crashed and burned on every effort, but that's just my standards.

Ditto... especially since you've been here so long.

Now that's just silly- firstly, define 'true cheap ass'... becuase I imagine the guy who got his buddy to mod-chip his PS2 to play burned games, or works exclusively with ROMS, it going to say you spent too much. (then we point out his method are illegal and have no resale value and a flame war starts, but I digress.)

Secondly, there's an awful lot of variable to consider... if you avoid buying games online, for example, then the value's different than if you do... there's less buyers so it's typical cheaper, but there's less product too so in-demand items might cost more. Region comes into play- different games will be worth different amounts depending on where you are (supply and demand again.) I live in the Northwest... I'm surrounded by geeks and techie types. I can find darn near any game I want in a store... but it's gonna cost me becuase folks around here generally know what they have. (I typically do better online.)

If you beat the prices in your area, then you're doing just fine. You don't need to compare to anything beyond that.

What matters most is if YOU think you got a good deal. If you think you got a good deal, then there is no need to ask if others think you got a good deal. Everyone's opinions on good vs. bad deals will be different, plus you'll probably get smartasses who will say you paid too much even though few of your deals are over $10.

But the ones that stick out to me as really good deals are Uncharted for $10(if it's complete/mint for that price) and Zelda: TP for $6, especially with what TP goes for.
