My friend and I are both CAGs and he recently registered for it. Well, I was watching him a while ago and saw that he can change his font and add certain little icons to his. Why am I unable to do this?

Do this:

Click on "User CF" at the top

Click on "Edit Options"

Scroll to the bottom to "Message Editor Interface" and select "Enhanced"

There's a special "elite members only" part of this site, that only certain people are allowed to enter. This also adds special text/icons, as you recently saw. Your friend must be really well liked to be entered into our elite group so quickly!
