How do i fill a series of complaints against Best Buy?

Dunno, but you can make your complaint heard pretty quickly by millions of people by submitting it to bestbuysux.org.

just go to bbb.org (i think... the better business bureau) and file your complaint. i've already done it once because they refused to pricematch 15$ Metroid and F-Zero.

I just wanted to know what place would be the most effective at getting my voice out.

Quite frankly i'm sick of the bad service and incompetent employee's at BB.
Just wanna know what's the best way to go about this.
Walk into the section to which you have a complaint. Drop your pants. Urinate on anything, or everything if you so desire. Pick up your pants and sprint for the door.

i like your gung ho attitude

most people would want to file a complaint but, not you, you are ready to file a series of complaints

i might suggest getting randy johnson to pitch them :)

 that would be funny to see the mob of brainwashed best buy employees chasing after him.

Yeah you should probably go into more detail if you want effective help, but writing corperate tends to get results... as long as you aren't over the top or an asshole about it. Just write a clear, levelheaded note saying how long you've been shopping there, what behaviors have offended you and what the ramifications are (I won't shop at your store anymore or whatever unless these concerns are addressed)

Hate to break it to ya, but everyone knows they already have crappy service. Service isn't the reason people go there.

let me guess--they wouldn't let you price match and use a coupon? wouldn't do a return without a receipt? wouldn't price match Ace Combat 5 for $5?

Well i reported this to the BBB last night but since people want to know what sent me over the edge...

They wouldn't let me price match the Spiderman 2 Target ad for $28.88. I didn't try to use a ggc with the price match.

1st - I had the ad but the girl told me she had to call Taget to see if the game was in stock.

2nd - She called a higher level person over to price adjust the game but she took the game somewhere(i'm assuming to the manager) then came back and said she couldn't price match it.

3rd - I asked to speak to the manager(danny bog) & he said they would be losing too much money on this item so he couldn't price match.

Best Buy will probably respond with something along the lines of "whatever the manager said was the final decision" That's what they told me when I wrote a letter to corporate (they refused to honor their own coupon for $5 off any Interact accessory).

I believe calling up Target was just procedure. But not being able to price match it because they would be losing too much money sounds like complete bs. Good luck on your cause man.

fighting giant stores is futile...i mean dont let that discourage you from doing it, ive taken on best buy, circuit city, fye, and target, and won in all 4 cases...but really it wastes alot of time, and nothing changes evn if you win.if you dont like a store, dont shop there. better yet, protest it, stand outside with big frickin signs that remind them of how much they suck.

just dont buy from any store you dont like unless youre SURE they are losing money on your sale.

turn loss leaders into just straight losses.

go into the store and waste as many employees time as you can. they are paying for that, so if you can send 4-6 employees on a random goose chase for 15-20 mins, you just cost them $ right there, because of all the customers that couldnt get service because you were being a jerk ^^

"can i help you with anything?" well...actully... ^^

It really depends on how much they purchased the game for. If they purchase the games for 30 dollars and sell them for 30 dollars, it wouldn't be profitable for them. I would doubt they would take your cause seriously over a game.

I wasn't doubting that BB would lose money on the transaction, that's probably a given. But not being able to price match because it would be too much of a loss it what I don't believe.

They dont have to price match if they dont want, you know that right? Such as Circuit City... they will not be price matching any of the black friday deals.

you are wrong, its against their own policy...its YOUR job as a consumer to hold them to their own words.

no stores match bf prices...

I would still write a letter to corporate. Explain that you have spent money in the past, and that your didnt expect this to be an issue. Hopefully, they will be smart and realise that they are losing a customer for life over a 5 to 10 dollar loss.

If they don't... well... then take your money elsewhere.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised they didn't go ahead with the PM. Heck I PMed Good, Bad, Ugly SE DVD at my Best Buy on a fairly obvious Target ad pricing mistake and they did it without too much argument.

If you have a Circuit City in your area just go there and do the PM. If they give you grief just read the PM policy on the big banner (I think) they all have hanging behind the customer service desk until they crack.

thats bs, when I pricematched the ad to get ace combat for 5 bucks they let me.

the game had a 50 dollar sticker on it and they were shocked but let me.

but then again the store had just opened 24 hours ago and the manager didn't really know what she was doing. I think thats crap and when I went to buy the game they had a sign by the check out saying they will beat any price...even though they just matched it I was still happy.
