how do you play 8 player buzz? cant' figure it out

I could only figure out how to do 4 players. I have a set of wired remotes (1 usb with all those wires) and 4 wireless controllers. whenever i set up any wireless on top of the 4 wired, it would just replace a spot from the wired set....


I heard you have to connect the wired ones first. still not working for me.



is the game not as fun with 8 players? are there only certain modes you can play with just 8 players?
 
You probably need a USB hub to fit them all if you're trying to fit the PS2 controllers in there, though I think the manual suggests just having two wireless sets.

It would only be for the local multiplayer mode.
 
Um.. I just plugged in the single usb plug, started the game, and had everyone press the big red button before I went into the menu. I didn't take really good notes, because it happened all by itself.

If I remember correctly, there was an option in the "Play with Friends" screen that said "1-4" or "4-8", but it's been a while.

yeah the wired controllers are all attached to one single USB plug.

I heard you have to plug that in first before you plug the wireless ones.
