How Do You Shave?

hiccupleftovers

CAGiversary!
Poll soon to come up. At the moment I use only an electric shaver, but am planning to try out/switch to a razor hopefully soon.

Electric shaver. I'd use razors if they didn't take so long. With an electric I'm done in 5 minutes sans shaving creams.

At the moment I used an electirc shaver, but I'm either gonna get a new electric shaver or start using a razor, since my current one doesn't get as close as I'd like it to.

you should have an option for both... because I use electric for my face, and razor for other areas... I just picked electric for simplicity of the poll.

Electric Shaver.

Blade shaved for 5+ years and finally got fed up at how long it took each time. Went through 2 or so cheaper Electric Shavers before finally settling on the best one Costco had. Won't ever go back to Blade Shaving again if I can help it. Sooo much faster. Takes me like 2 minutes tops when I'm in a hurry.

I agree you need a both. I chose electric, but I have to use a regular razor to finish up my neck. I switched to an electric for taking less time and not cutting the fuck out of my chin. I wish the electric could do a good enough job on my neck, but a regular razor doesn't even get it that well so I guess it's never gonna happen.

For over 5 years now Ive used a 19.99 pair of hair cutting shears to shave my head as well as my facial hair. I hate the new stubble from razor shaving and Im too lazy to shave all the time to keep it down. The shears i use leave it short enough where its not annoying.

Id like to find an electric razor that can be used on a scalp.

Mach 3 razor turbo to be specific. I would try an electric but I just haven't had the chance. If I get a lot of extra money, I'd try one.

Electric, becuase I generally don't have the time to waste on a good shave in the morning. If I'm going somewhere where looking good is important (i.e. not another day in the office...), I'll break out a regular razor, though.

Even using a razor I look unshaven after 6 hours. I can't imagine how I'd look with an electric.

A slab of asphalt. I use female ejaculation for shaving cream.

On the weekdays, I use a cheap razor and an electric razor to trim the sideburns up smoove.

Same here.

I have an electric razor, but it burns, and I only use it on my pubes.

I'm groggy enough in the morning, so I rarely trust myself with a blade in the morning... Norelco Coolskin Electric Shaver all the way. On weekends, I'll occasionally break out the Mach 3 or Fusion.

He's completely right on that one, if you're gonna use a razor, do it there. The skin is WAY more agreeable in there to shaving, all the condensation and such.

I think is bad if you use electric one day and razor another day since your beard get's used to one way, by doing that you are asking for rashes, ingrown hairs , acne, and plenty of other bad things , i use a braun syncro with clean and charge stand because what i used to hate the most about my last electric was to have to clean under the foil !

started out with razor's but several months ago tried an electric out, gave it 3 weeks but kept getting in-grown hairs, sensitive face, and shaev wasn't close enough & consistent enough.

SO back to razors, although as some have said, its a bitch to shave daily with razors.

I use a razor. I dont really have enough facial hair to use an electric one, I don't think it would get close enough. I am forced to shave once every week and I could probably go longer. It's really only noticable along my jaw and the goatee area. My neck and cheeks don't grow in very thick at all. I enjoy not having to shave though. Razor or it is.

And Limegreen, that is the longest run-on sentence ever.

Razor for me. I have a beard, because I'm too lazy to shave every day
Sorry guys, hadn't thought about it. Can't edit it to put in both, maybe a mod can.
Nope, sadly that's beyond even my awesome powers.

I use a regular razor. I had an electric but it wasn't getting close enough. Plus all of the charging, changing the fluid, oiling the blades etc. It just got old so now I use a disposable razor. I might invest in a straight edge soon, I have always like them.

I use triple blade disposable razors. I don't use shaving cream, only water. People find that odd for some reason.

for some reason my dimple areas are harder to shave so even though everything is off, when I get outside to more light and look in a mirror I can tell I missed a bit :| I wish I could have a clean cut :|

Manual razor for me. I tried the electric route, but I could never get a good shave around my neck, so I'm back with the goold old fashioned manual razor.

Heh, I just got this over the weekend and it kicks ass! My face feels smooth all the way into the evening, and usually my stubble comes in super fast. Great razor.

I have a beard but I shave the areas I'm not grooming with a razor-- Electrics just can't do the job. Rest of the males in my immediate family use Electrics, Proof again that I was the mailman's kid.

Voted razor as preference but sometimes when I need to get out the door in the morning, I'll go w/ a electric shaver as it gets the job done quick.
