I am in the market for a nice dvd/cd cabinet that can hold a few hundred cd and dvd shaped objects. I'd prefer one with some sort of door to keep the dust out and under $200. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I've seen a few sites such as: www.racksandstands.com that are offering free shipping which seems like a good deal. Any help would be appreciated.
I actually used to go with binders to save space, but to me, now even that is too much work. I have an extra computer hooked up next to my tv with an S-Video out cable using the TV as the monitor, and I take all my movies and rip them into avi files to store on the 350GB hard drive. An extra plus is being able to browse the internet from my couch
As for stands, I'm not much for them, just giving you my 2 cents worth on how I keep my many hundreds of DVDs organized
If you have an IKEA in your area (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/allproducts/ - look under "Storage Furniture"), you could try there. They have some options for CD/DVD storage, CD/DVD furniture, and CD/DVD organizers.
