ok im getting ready to sell my PSP. I wanted to go to this thrift store that sells games and movies because they would give me a lot more than eb or gamestop would, but they wouldnt take it because they have too many psps already. So i have all the original stuff with my PSP. The box, cleaner wiper, the headphones, the 32MB stick, a 512MB Stick, the fabric case, the logitch playgear case, and the instructions. How much would eb or gamestop give me for all of that? and would i be able to trade it in to get a ds lite?

They will give you around $80, I believe, so you'd have to add $50 for a DS Lite. You'd probably get around $150 cash for it on Ebay.

Do you mean thrift store or pawn shop? Thrift stores don't pay cash for stuff, it's all charity AFAIK.

That's what I thought, thrift stores only take donated stuff. I think the OP means pawn shop, cause I've never heard of thrift stores giving money for stuff.

I dont see how a pawn shop would give any more than EB or GS, Ive seen many a redneck sell of their video game related items for very little at these pawn shops

not necessarily so. we have a couple actual thrift stores in San Diego that buy stuff from you. while i agree that the usual definition of a thrift store involves some sort of charitable action, i don't think it's always the case, or maybe there is some sort of 50/50 profits & proceeds thing goin' on. neither of the stores i have in mind actually do any "pawning".

oh, and OP: you might also try selling here on CAG, in the trading forum. you can usually get somewhere near Ebay value.
