how the hell does emusic work?
i'm trying the 100 song free trail but i can't find shit. none of the mainstream artist i'm looking for pop up
Bro I got that with my PMP. I emailed, called, etc. No one answered me when I asked them. Jackasses.

if you have 100 free songs to use, why don't you look around. There's better music on emusic than most of the mainstream shit out there now.
oh fuck, alright i'm gonna cancel my subscription
Unless you have dialup (in which case, it's a major pain) take advantage of your 100 free tracks. It may not be mainstream, but there's a lot of good music on emusic, and it's free. You might as well.

Then cancel ;)

emusic is wonderful! They've got me absolutely hooked with the variable bit rate mp3's, no DRM, extensive indie catalogue (awesome spoken word and comedy stuff! Neil Hamburger!!!), and ridiculously low prices compared to the Apples and Sonys of the world. Can't beat 'em.

I would really urge the OP to give 'em a thorough look. Type in the name of an artist you're interested in and then when it doesn't come up, click on the "artists similar to" link and see what goldmines you can uncover.
