How to stop instant loading of game?

Hey does anyone know how to stop the start up loading of a umd left in the psp when starting up the psp? I just want to be at the homescreen when i boot up my psp.

System Settings>UMD Auto-Start

Just turn that to off

What firmware did that get added? Most of the new ones should be set, but I know I've seen older ones that haven't been upgraded to have that feature yet (I know!).

I believe that was added back when 3.00 first came out so that'd make it something close to a year now iirc.

all huge pluses. Slowly more and more, I really like my handhelds alot more than my home consoles... home consoles still lack alot of what I get from portables. It took SCEA long enough to get it for people with no PS3 damn it
