I was reading one of the Target clearance threads and heard people were getting some pretty decent deals. They never pan out for me, but I figured, what the hell, I need to go to BB to return my free rentals anyways.
I browse the isle and there was all of 1 mark down. Madden 2005, $27. MEH!
They didn't even have any HDDs or other such goodness. They had an Eyetoy Groove for $30, which I almost bought, but decided against since there was a GameCrazy right across the street.
I go to GC and dont immediately see anything special. The manager I usually BS with wasn't there so I figured I'd just ask about the eyetoy quick and leave. The guy said they had them for 40, they could price match, but we'd all bet better off if I just went to target and saved us half an hour on hold. Some how or another, I get talking with the deskboy about just about everything under the sun for about an hour. Every few minutes the topic would change when I'd catch a different game I wanted and we'd start talking about that.
After all was said and done, I wound up with -
