I know theres a topic for this, but it's gettin' old, so I'll make a new one. How hyped are you? This is going to be the biggest, baddest E3 ever. So much stuff is going to be coming out. It's going to be INSANE. I'm not excited. I'm scared.

no, thats jsut expected. if sega announces a new console, millions of gamers will simultaneously die of heart attacks. but theyd die with smiles on their faces.

Im really looking forward to E3. I really cant wait to see some new Godzilla: Save the Earth info and screens, but Im also looking forward to Halo 2, Fable, Jade Empire, Wind Waker 2, LotR: Battle for Middle Earth, Final Fantasy XII, Star Ocean 3, Tales of Symphonia, and Kingdom Hearts 2 info and screens.
It would also be nice to see Perfect Dark 0 or a Perfect Dark remake there.
I also hope we get lots of great supprises.
 
Bungie invited me to a closed door Halo 2 demonstration at E3 with the developers, so I can't wait for that :D. I'm almost positive I'll be able to play some exclusive levels that won't be shown on the show floor.

Besides that though, I think this year's will be the best one in the last several years.

Anyway, I'm really just looking forward to seeing some people that I only get to see once or twice a year, and getting to go to Dodger Stadium.
 
yes. What i've played translated i really like. But I have no patience for playing games on emulators, so i woould be quite pleased if it were to come here.

Actually I am like 6 hours into GS: TLA and would like to finish that first. I also need to finish Viewtiful Joe and wanna try out Cubivore

you guys should have a special E3 CAG meet up. So all the west coast CAGs can booze it up with the visiting East Coast CAGs.

Awesome, and to me price doesnt matter. Id be happy to buy one knowing the money would be going to a good cause.

Back on subject. This E3 is definitely gonna be big. I'm not really looking on info about Halo 2 but about The Liandri Conflict, Jade Empire, and many others.
 
Well I would be excited about going if they didn't give my hotel room away. I may still be there but I need some lodging, so if I find some be on the lookout for a dude with blue hair and ummm clothes....sometimes.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing what Sega has up their sleeve. They've been pretty quiet lately. Supposedly they're going to unveil a slew of games. Here's hoping for sequels to Skies of Arcadia and NiGHTS.

I feel sorry for your friends staying at the Kawada, the rooms are really, really tiny, and if you're on the back wall, the building next door can look in on you.
 
I still havn't found a room yet.... Anybody got an extra spot? Actually I was thinking of just sleeping in my car, but would rather not. I had reservations to the Kawada but I went through E3 housing and they didn't book in time I guess.
 
geez I keep forgetting to make a list of the things I'l have to look out for! soooo many things soo little time (not sure how many days I'll be able to go).

I'll have my digital camera but unfortunately no laptop to download to. Anychance we could have a CAG download meet for those of us taking pictures at the show?
 
been waiting ten years to go to this shindig...

and this year it finally goes down.

first day is all business.

but thrsday and friday are nothing but fun for me.
i dont plan on sleeping.

i DO plan on bringing three suitcases for the free junk.

you'll probably see me waltzing aboutn with a big black beachbag filled to the brim with goodies.

this is gonna be sweeeeeet.
 
I think people overestimate the goodies at E3. There really isn't all that much stuff worth carrying a bag for. Most of the good stuff is handed out at the press conferences. In 2002, Sony gave us a PS2 backpack and last year, we got a leather briefcase thing. :lol:
 
I think people are underestimating the fact that it's almost all nothing but fat sweaty geeks that get tired putting on their shoes walking around for a few hours.
