I agree with Fox News' politcs, but I absolutely despise the commentators like G.Beck

I hate almost all of the show hosts because they are so ****ing ignorant. Though i am conservative at heart, and i am more of a Republican in almost every way. Its just many Republicans are such hypocrites. I am a Republican in terms of government and financial issues, and 90% of the time i am a Republican in terms of social issues.

Glenn Beck for example, he talks about propaganda a lot. Whenever i watch the show, i feel like his show is Republican propaganda. For example it was on at my house tonight, and he said tomorrow he wants all parents to have their kids sit down and watch his show tomorrow evening. Now from a guy who criticizes Democrats for brainwashing kids, isnt this literally the same thing? Republicans criticize Democrats often for their personal flaws, for example Obama smoking is wrong, Obama admitting to doing cocaine, a Democrat had sex with a prostitute, etc. They have the right to criticize that, but when the guy presenting this is a person who ruined his marriage due to his alcohol and drug problems, thats just ignorant. Let alone, he has that cult-style following, that is highly similar to propaganda.

Bill O'reilly is another one i hate. A lot of Republicans claim that he is an excellent debater. Every single O'reilly debate goes like this: O'reilly gives his long opinion on the subject, the guest speaks for a tiny bit then O'reilly interrupts him, the guest waits patiently and speaks again, O'reilly interrupts the guest before they can even state their case, O'reilly then says the guest makes no sense, the guest tries to speak again and O'reilly starts saying how the guest is wrong before he ever gets to make a point. Repeat that a few times, debate over, and the ONLY opinion you truly heard out was O'reilly's opinion, and the discussion is over, O'reilly wins and makes himself seem like a genius. I typically agree with his opinion, but he is an ass who cant debate for the life of him.

Rush Limbaugh, oh god. I rarely even agree with his opinion. Everything with this guy goes back to race, Obama is only the president because is black, black people do this because they are impoverished, people are more than likely bad people if they are Muslim, everything that he doesnt agree with is wrong and its wrong because the media is corrupt, and thats because of racism somehow. Let alone, same with Glenn Beck, Republicans criticize Democrats for doing wrong (Obama admitting to cocaine, Obama smoking, etc), whereas we have a pill popper right here being cherished.

Shepherd Smith is great though, he is what i enjoy about Fox News. He gives the news, he states his opinion, he does everything professionally, and can manage to joke around and make it less depressing than it really is. Granted that he is only an anchor, not a commentator.

I like glenn beck mostly because he's good for one thing....laughs. I watch him from time to time just for those reasons.

Seriously up into a few years ago this guy was a nobody reporting on fox news (and he actually was middle of the road in terms of politics). Now he goes on TV spewing things from the far right just for ratings. Another reason I can't stand glenn is from the fact that he gives way too much fan service to his fans telling them they're smarting than this...smarter than that...when in fact he's turning these people into sheeple following his lead instead of gaining their own opinions on their own.

how did GB get his start ,again?

I've watched the O'Reilly Factor for years and I wouldn't call it a debate show.

Hannity is self described as a Reagen conservative. I assume you would like him???

Does Limbaugh even have a show on Fox??? I've never seen it.

Heres what I like about the last clip:

Shep calls JTP out for basing his opinion about Obama (stance on Israel) on ignorance. Shep then goes on to say that he thinks it is potential dangerous.

It was not even about Obama. It was about JTP being a dumb ass redneck.

There are a few (very few) people in vs. that have the intellectual honesty to call others out when their argument isn't sound, regardless of whether or not they share the same political persuasion.

To those folks, I salute you.

I don't know if I'd assume Shep is necessarily a conservative, I haven't seen him shilling for the GOP the way Steve Doocy/Gretchen Carlson have.

Even Geraldo is somewhat impressive (!) in the way he tries to defend Obama and defend the rule of law on FOX.

Geraldo impresses with the way he handled the skinheads back in the 80's. He impressed again with Al Capons secret vault. Then yet again with his smash hit "Rico Suave"

I seriously thought i'd heard the end of joe notaplumber until I got some recorded political campaign call the other day. If there was ever someone who needed to fade into obscurity, it's that guy.

Glenn Beck isn't a Republican. He is either an anarchist or someone who only cares about ratings and knows what people will watch. I am fine with O'reilly. The guy I hate most on FOX though is Hannity.

I kinda feel bad for Joe the plumber in a sense. They republicans really used him as a talking point, hailed him as a hero of the people, and went so far as to encourage him to run for Congress. Once the election was over though, they dropped him like a hot potato. He was just to blind to see what was happening. I don't quite agree with the politics of Joe, but it was just really bad how they dropped him like they did.

Just goes to show you really what politicians think of the ordinary common man really.

As far as Shep, I felt really horrible for him during the Katrina disaster. I thought he was just going to commit suicide right there at the Superdome. I've never seen someone so beat down & worn out like he was. In my opinion however, he has got to be FOXNEWS's best reporter and about the only one I enjoy watching.

Fox & Friends in the morning is good for a good laugh in a sense. You got Doocey the blatant stuck up conservative, the blonde bimbo that tries to sound smart (forget her name at the moment) and Brian the total retard that is there for comedy relief.

When individual people are used as talking points, they are more often than not used by both parties for their own gain. It's been almost 2 years and we're still talking about this guy? I think it's time to move on, because the rest of the country doesn't care.

I agree about Shepard Smith, he seems to be their front man for almost every big story that isn't election related.

Why would you feel bad for Joe the Plumber? He got his 15 minutes plus some. He made the simple mistake in believing either party gives a damn about the little guy.

I like Bill O'Reilly. Unlike Sean Hannity who is an unabashed shill for the GOP, and Glenn Beck who is just a raving lunatic, Bill does have some brief fits of sanity from time to time, the problem is that it's hard to identify because it's usually buried deep within the derp and wharrgarbl that come out of his mouth the rest of the time.

In all fairness, Glenn Beck isn't a commentator, just a corporate mouthpiece and puppet. When he was at MSNBC he hated our healthcare system. Now that he's at Fox it was perfect and the black guy is destroying it.

I'm not saying I feel sorry for the guy. I'm giving you a generalization about people like him. They are used for political gain on both sides. However, in this case, it's gone on WAY too long.

@KingBroly
I believe depascal was talking to Superfluential who straight up stated he felt sorry for him.

Also, I think Glenn Beck was at HeadlineNews which belongs to CNN.

serious?

Glenn Beck did do a serious flip flop once he signed with Fox News. I was seriously baffled because most of his positions have gone so radically to the right that he isn't the same person anymore.

I used to like watching him on HNN because he used to be pretty centrist and even left leaning on social issues. Now, he's just a paid puppet for the Faux News boys.

I don't know, in the clips I've seen he was at the very least already on his anti-government shtick.

Beck would make plenty of money without Fox. Fox needs him more than he needs Fox. Beck was an awkward fit for HN from the get go.

There are plenty of reasons to criticize Beck. Changing his stance to fit whichever network he is on is not one of them.
I don't know, in the clips I've seen he was at the very least already on his anti-government shtick.
Bush was in office remember....
So he was basically the Alan Colmes of CNN, completely out of place.
Beck was always a bomb thrower, he started out as a shock jock.

The guy is a bundle of creepy neuroses.

I'll bet Colmes has night terrors from his time at Fox. Not only was he out of place there, but he was the token "sell out" for that network. He was the sideshow bob of H&C.

I always pictured fox news as some roman style gladiatorial fight with Colmes being fed to the lions.
So he was basically the Alan Colmes of CNN, completely out of place.
Kinda. He's just been an anti-gov shock jock for most of his career. He moved to Faux around the same time Obama got elected so it was just surprising to see such a huge 180 from espousing some liberal ideas (and thus anti-establishment in the early part of the 00's) to demonizing all liberals as fascists.

My head is going to assplode.

These statements make me think you really don't or haven't watched either, especially Beck. Neither are Republican, although it could be argued that O'reilly is sympathetic to most Republican causes.

Beck seriously attacks Republicans quite a lot, so I am not sure what you re smoking.

Huh? Beck has never reported on Fox News. He didn't appear on Fox News until a year ago with his show, so what in the world are you talking about?

I am not going to defend Beck, but you clearly don't watch him. You can disagree with everything he says, but he constantly, nearly every five minutes, admonishes his audience "don't take my word for it, go out and study this stuff on your own and find out for yourself". So if people are brainwashed and believe everything he says, that's their problem - but clearly not his objective.

Very true.
I am pretty convinced that if Fox tried to censor Beck much he would just leave them because he doesn't need them.
He attacks republicans for not being conservative enough.
republicans arent conservative enough.

Jesus, if we listened to Glenn Beck we would be led to believe that the Democrats are to the left of Mao and that the Democratic party has been raped and turned into the socialist maoist progressivist leftist party.
Anyone who says the Republicans aren't conservative are being dishonest or playing silly games.
However are they really?

They are completely beholden to corporations, they cowtow to big wall street execs who are raiding our economy and apologize to foreign oil companies who destroy our coastal areas. They support expanding America's military influence and instituting theocratic law.

I'd say that's far right-wing, but it's not conservative. At least not in an American sense. Those certainly weren't the values of our forefathers.

At least not in an American sense.
The American sense of "conservative" is Republican. Whatever Republicans do, we consider conservative. Essentially, we use liberal and conservative as interesting synonyms for Democrat and Republican, so we don't end up sounding dry when we complain about them.

Bill is getting senile. His brief fits of sanity are out-matched by his general ignorance of others opinions and lack of any sort of respect. Interrupt someone mid-sentence, tell them they're wrong, and then complain when they do the same thing.

That's no excuse for letting Republicans hide behind the term conservative. Democrats are liberal (look it up, you'll see it fits). Likewise we should define Republicans by their actions. Republicans have gone too far right to be labeled as simple conservatives.

I don't know, Beck has said the Democrats have been 'co-opted' (his words) by maoist communist marxist revolutionaries.

BTW, nis new line of attacking Obama is this:
-obama's kenyan grandfather was tortured by british
-QED that explains why obama hates white people and took down that pic of churchill
