Today I scored a slim ps2 w/ memory card 6 games: Dark Cloud 2, Juiced, Destroy all humans, Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, Black Hawk Down, God of War for $50. Made my day when I got it for that price.Cheaper than a brand new game/ xbox 360 game. Got it locally from someone who is deploying to Iraq.
 
He said he didnt want it and will get a ps3 when he gets back. when deployed its tax free pay so he would be banking money in anyway.

Alright little one. The point is $50 for a package deal and he was getting rid of excess things. Which any true cheapass gamer would jump on for that price unless your dumb and dont take it. I already know where hes going in Iraq and he will be safe where hes going.
 
great deal. its sad though, ive had a lot of soldiers come into my store to trade in tons of stuff because they are being deployed.

It's not like the OP held the soldier at gun point for this deal. The guy wanted to unload his PS2 and this was probably as much of a gift to the OP as it was a good deal. Cut the kid some slack.

Having said that, wrong forum buddy. Should be in deal discussion.

Good score indeed. I dont see anything wrong with you buying that from him. He wanted to sell it, you bought it. Its not like it was a car or something. Just a ps2, its not like the guy is selling an 06 corvette for 1500 so he can leave his family some money or something. you guys should relax.

I wouldve bought it, I just paid 150 for a slim, with 2 controllers, memory card, guitar hero, and san andreas.
 
I don't understand the flaming - half the shit you guys brag about finding at pawn shops and goodwill stores is traded in by guys getting deployed.

Thanks guys. It made my day when I found out about this. Is there some kind of glitch/ freeze in metal gear solid that I dont know about?
