I tried the pressure method, and it worked.

The dead (red) pixel mysteriously appeared today, and I think I lost all of my DS documentation... so I had no choice but to try fixing it on my own.

To my surprise, as I have shit luck, it worked.

This probably won't work on the top screen, because of the window covering.

Interesting, I have one on the top screen that I can usually only see when its all black (stuck white) and I think I have one on the lower screen also, doesn't bother me at all like I thought they would though.

Congrats. When I ordered a DS this past Christmas, it arrived with 2 stuck pixels on the touch screen. I tried the pressure technique and had no such luck. Thankfully, Nintendo's stuck pixel policy kicks ass and replaced my unit no questions asked.

My new 3DS XL has a stuck white pixel on the top screen. I just sent in repair request and will be printing shipping label and dropping if off in ups drop box. Hopefully they don't send me a used one back. Only visible on black screen or real dark colors. I could almost live with it but it's distracting to me now that I know it's there. Anyone sent a new one in like this and what was the result?
